We are excited to announce a pre-race concert on Friday, Aprils 25^th as a new addition to the 2014 OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital Race for a Reason. The concert will be held at 7:00pm at the Templeton-Blackburn Memorial Auditorium on Ohio University’s campus and will feature:

Two-time GRAMMY nominated, Dove Award-wining Sanctus Real creates compelling, authentic music, about topics that they pray will matter.  Rather than simply glossing over struggles, Sanctus Real hasn’t been afraid to shine a light on them.  And by being transparent about what they’ve been through, songs like “I’m Not Alright”, “Don’t Give Up” and “We Need Each Other” have emerged as encouraging anthems of hope and healing that listeners can cling to in trying times. Anthony Mossburg is a multi-award winning acoustic artist from West Virginia who is currently residing in Columbus, OH. Regular tickets are $15. If you are participating in the Race for a Reason or purchasing in blocks of ten or more tickets then tickets are $10.  In order to receive your discount you need to walk-in or call the Ohio University ticket office at (740) 593-1780 during there normal hours of operation 12-5pm Mon-Fri. In order to receive you discount race participants should provide the race confirmation code from their registration email. You can purchase regular tickets for $15 or VIP ticket (first ten rows) for $25 by visiting http://bit.ly/RFARConcert. Note: discounted tickets cannot be purchased on line and must be called in.

Don’t have transportation to the race?  If you live is Columbus or Cincinnati you can get a round-trip ticket on GoBus for $2.50.  Just use the discount code RACE14 and you can come in on Friday late afternoon for the concert and leave on Saturday afternoon after you enjoy the post race award ceremony at Fitness Fest in TailGreat Park.
