Monday, March 2 – Campers we greeted with a beautiful sunrise on a crisp sunny day with temperatures hovering in the low 40’s as they departed from camp headquarters for the Oro Valley Aquatic Center for the first outdoor swim workout of the 2020 camp.

After a strong 4500 yards of intervals in the pool, campers switched over to their running gear and headed to the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area for a super challenging run on the Phoneline Trail. The professional triathlete sightings at the pool today were Eric Lagerstrom, Heather Jackson and Paula Findlay.

This run/hike took most campers nearly 2 hours to complete.
