American Triple-T Upgrades Bike Courses

AmericanTriple-T_poweredbySOMCRace officials from the American Triple-T announced today significant course changes to race #2, #3 and #4 bike courses.  All changes were made based on enhancing the safety and logistics of the courses. “With several major accidents on all of the courses at the same locations over the last few years I decided it was time to take a serious look at changing the courses. While addressing the safety issues for all of the bike courses we decided a 1-lap course for the signature half distance race would allow for a much more enjoyable final race from a participant perspective and provide our race team with much better logistics. We were able to keep the challenging integrity of the courses but remove some of the more dangerous descents and completely overhauled the Olympic PM course to what I believe will be a much more fun, enjoyable course for the participants.” Shannon Kurek, Race Director American Triple-T

Join Shannon Kurek and some of his staff on Saturday, April 19th to pre-ride the new 1-lap 56 mile bike course at 9:30am from the beach parking lot at Shawnee State Park.
