American Triple-T and INFINIT celebrate their 15th anniversaries together with weekend long race at new location — 3 days, 4 triathlons, 1 epic event
Cambridge, OH February 21, 2019 — INFINIT Nutrition, the original custom nutrition company, is proud to announce they will be teaming up with HFP Racing as the title sponsor and official on-course nutrition of the American Triple-T and TOUGHMAN Ohio. INFINIT and the American Triple-T are both celebrating their 15th anniversaries in 2019, and are excited to crown the landmark year with this epic event.
The American Triple-T is a weekend event consisting of four different triathlon distance races spanning three days. The longstanding event has been described as “hardcore racing, the way triathlon used to be.” Athletes have the option to partake in a single race or go all-in by doing the entire weekend of racing, ranging from a super-sprint triathlon to a half iron (70.3) distance.
The event will take place at a beautiful new location this year, Salt Fork State Park in Cambridge, Ohio. Participants will be challenged with chilly swims in Salt Fork Lake, a hilly bike course with over 5000 total feet of climbing, and a unique run course through the Shadbush trail system.
“One of the things we are most excited about with the new venue is how family-friendly it is,” said Race Director, Shannon Kurek. “The park has 55 cabins, on top of almost 150 rooms, all steps away from the transition and finish line areas. Racers can use this weekend as a race-cation and bring the whole family!”
INFINIT will supply the aid stations with their natural all-in-one endurance fuel, as well as post-race recovery nutrition for the multi day event.
Team INFINIT pros will be attending and racing throughout the weekend, including 6th place 2018 IRONMAN World Championship finisher Matt Russell. Russell will be the keynote speaker at the Saturday evening participant dinner, where he will hold an exclusive Q&A session and talk about his incredible comeback journey following an accident during the 2017 IRONMAN World Championship.

It’s all about hanging out, having fun, pushing yourself to your limits and going hard the entire weekend.”
The epic weekend event kicks off the evening of Friday, May 31st with the Super Sprint race (250 yard swim, 3.72 mile bike and 1 mile run). Saturday is jam packed with two extreme (1 mile swim, 24.66 mile bike and 6.55 mile run) and two sprint (½ mile swim, 12.77 mile bike and 3.1 mile run) distance races. TOUGHMAN Ohio serves as the finale for the weekend on Sunday, June 2nd. The 70.3 distance race gives participants a chance to battle the challenging bike and run courses and compete for the top honors of being a named “Toughman.”
