ABOUT THE FIT FAMILY SERIES & ALL OHIO – POINTS SYSTEM
HFP uses a sophisticated algorithm that was developed by TriRegistration.com to determine the champions from HFP’s FIT Family Series. This algorithm is also used to determine ALL OHIO rankings which rank athletes participating in all HFP events regardless of distance.

FIT Series Awards are grouped by race distance, thus separate series awards will be given for Mini Tri, Mini Du, Sprint Tri, Sprint Du, Olympic Tri, and so on, anyone racing at least 3 races in the FIT series of the same distance (and in the same category) to qualified for a series award.

NOTE: Anyone that raced in the FIT Family Series Championship at Portage Lakes State Park was awarded 25% points bonus when determining the final series points.

Overall Series Awards

The top three (first, second, third places) in all divisions and all races* competing in the series points championship will receive custom FIT Family Series award (mailed out in the next couple of weeks). The first place winners (Series Champions) of the series points championship of each division in each race will also receive a FIT Family Series Champion race singlet in December.

HFP ALL OHIO rankings are only divided by sport (triathlon and duathlon), so all races count towards your overall ranking regardless of distance. It is separated by sport and category though.

Congratulations to overall ALL OHIO Triathletes Adam Rosen & Kara Andersson and ALL OHIO Duathletes Chris Lattcovich & Lynn StreetzHallum. Check all the ALL OHIO rankings here.
